Rue's Week of Looks (Last week of Summer).

Sorry I did not get this posted on Friday, but my cousin had a football game and I did not have time to post anything on Friday. I was off last weekend so I have a few more looks than I normally do.

Look 1:
My first attempt of water marbling. (I will be doing a tutorial on it soon, still practicing). Since this was my first time doing it, I only used it as an accent nail. The main color is Revlon Colorstay in Rich Raspberry. (I have wanted this color all summer long and finally bought it. I found Revlon stuff on sale.) This color will also be a great fall color as well. With the water marble I used Rich Raspberry along with China Glaze For Audrey and Finger Paints Flip Flop Fuchsia on top of a white base coat. I used Spoiled by Wet n Wild Correction Tape.

 Look 2:
This look here I painted my nails with Spolied by Wet n Wild Correction Tape (white) first, and then I took and angled crayola brush (I think I got it in the kid painting section of wal-mart) and sponged China Glaze's First Mate on. I loved the look.
Spoiled by Wet n Wild Correction Tape and China Glaze First Mate on top.
 Third Look:
This Look I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme in Mint Sorbet. I topped it with Cover Girls Boundless Color in Gold Rush (gold glitter)( I believe this is discontinued I bought it at Big Lots and it was on clearance there for 50 cents). Then for a little more shimmer on my accent nail I put a chunkier gold glitter from Sally's nail polish line Sally Girl.
Two coats of Mint Sorbet with a coat of Gold Rush and on ring finger a coat of Sally' Girl gold glitter.

 Look 4:
Here is another attempt with water marbling. This time I tried going my whole hand. Most of them looked like I just striped this, but I didn't. I did try going two fingers at a time. I think until I get use to it, I will stick with one at a time. Also I taped both hands at the same time. I think next time I will use tape one finger at a time.
In this water marble I used the following colors. First the base coat was Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Timeless White
Yellow--Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lightening
Green-- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Limestone
Pink-- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Love Rocks
Purple-- Wet n Wild Megalast On a Trip.

Right hand--- Favorite two nails on this hand is my thumb and pointer fingers

Left hand--- Favorite nails my pointer(which doesn't look like it had any purple, but it did and my middle finger).

polishes used.
