I began to use the new polish I hauled yesterday. So since CG Secret Per-Wink-Le was my first periwinkle color, I decided to paint it with them. I decided that I wanted to do a more dramatic accent nail this time, so I used CG First Mate which is a darker blue. It looked really good beside the periwinkle, and on the display at Sally's it was located right beside it. I then put Finger Paints Art you wondering? a glitter polish on top, which was a mistake. I really did not like the look together with the periwinkle. When I paint my nails with First Mate it will be a great accent nail, but not with the periwinkle. So I took it off today, and now I just have the Per-Wink-Le on.
I put two coats of the Per-Wink-Le on each nail except for the ring finger. On the accent nail, I started out with Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Clear coat as a base coat. The only reason I used this one is because the base coat I have isn't very good and clips right away. I normally don't use a base coat, but the last time I used a Finger Paint polish, my nails where blue for weeks. Then I added one coat of the First Mate. Then a coat of the Art you Wondering?. I topped all the nails with my Wet n Wild Wild Shine Top Coat.
