I'm Back!!!

I know I have not been on here in a long while. I just posted my blog about my Erin Condren Life Planner which is my baby. I have had the last few days off due to being snowed in. Yesterday, where I live, we got about 12 inches of snow.

I am taking Rue's World in a new directions. I have already mentioned Erin Condren Planner post. Rue's World isn't going to be about just beauty anymore. To be completely honest in the past three months, I have only painted my nails three times and have not wore a stitch of makeup, so why would I post on here something I am not doing. To be completely honest, I don't have time to do my nails three to four times a week like I use to. I am working over 40 hours, and doing online classes. I barely have time to physically read anymore.

Soon I will post on here my planning system and how I exactly using my ECLP, which that is going to be the next post.

I have said these many times and not held to it, but I am going to try and post on here weekly. It will be a  Plan With Me Blog Post, where I show you all my weekly layouts and tell you where I got what I used to decorate my planners.

I am also going to try and post how I organize my school work, and do online classes. If I do paint my nails or have time for nail art, I will try and post it on here as well... I can't promise much right now as blog posts go, but I do want to get back on here and post regularly. I miss blogging.

If you want to see what I have been reading check out my book blog.

2014-2015 Erin Condren Life Planner

Back in October, I won a $50 dollar gift card in a giveaway to erincondren.com. I have for several years now been wanting an Erin Condren life planner, but if you have been following my blog for a long time, you know I am always looking for deals or go the cheaper way. I could not see paying $50 plus for a planner. I have a hard time buying a planner for $10. When I won the gift card, which I am very thankful for winning cause I never win anything, I saw the opportunity to finally get my hands on my dream planner.

I only had to pay for my add ons and shipping for the planner. I had them start my planner in November so I could start using it ASAP. For I knew that I would not be able to wait until January to start using it. I also got a pen loop for it, and also during this time erincondren.com had a promotion going on to get a free cover, which I took advantage of.

8 busy days later... My planner arrived at my door... I think I did a happy dance in my driveway when I saw it at the door.

They packaged the planner really nicely, and nothing came damaged. Everything I asked for and the changes I had made were all right. Through watching many YouTube videos about the planner through the years, Erin Condren supposedly has a really good customer service program.

Here is my planner....

I ordered the classic life planner. This cover is the viva espaƱa -watercolor. This is not the orginial cover that I ordered, it came with the quote "if you can imagine it you can achieve it..." I had them put my name on the over. This year, the ECLP have interchangeable covers, as you can tell by me saying I have already changed it.

When you open your planner, on the inside cover, you have a place where you can write your personal information on it. I used my label maker and put my name, address, and phone number, just in case I lost it and it can be returned. As you continue on into the planner you get a few quotes, and then you get the 2014\2015 at a glance. Since I bought mine in 2014, I am not sure if you ordered it today if you would only get 2015 or what. After this page you start into your calendar pages, which you get a month on two pages, and then your weeks for that month on two pages.

I had to show you July because it was the first month I had that was blank. On the monthly page, you get on the side a place to put notes, and then you see the whole month. Erin Condren put in US holidays for you so you know when one is coming up. I have had planners that did not put the holidays on their calendars, personally like that she included them. She also included when you have to set your clocks up and back.
The weekly pages are split up into three sections daily (morning, day, and night). On your left had side, you have a place for goals and notes for the week, and a month calendar their as well, then at the bottom, their is a place where you can write anything you won't. Some suggestions that she has are meal plans, exercises, lists thoughts, etc. Everyone uses this section differently.
After your calendar pages, she gives you blank note pages (lined and blank).

The planner also includes stickers. You get four sheets of labels. A full sheet of birthday stickers, a sheet with game, day off, hair apt., etc., and two sheet of blank ones. You have the option to order more stickers that are personalized with what you want.

The planner also has 2016 and 2017 year at a glance. It also some with a folder that you can keep many different things in. Also a plastic zip up pocket. I forgot to take pictures of these, but I will show you all these in a later post.

I have using my ECLP for almost three months now, and I am really liking it so far. I am still making changing on how I am using it, but I think that I am to a point that I really like how I am organizing my planner. I would suggest ordering the ECLP it is worth the 50 bucks.

Now to save you a little money, if you are a first time buyer off erincondren.com, you can save $10 off your first order. Also by using the link below will also give me 10.00 an order as well.
