April Favorites.

I am going to be doing a different format of favorites this months. It's going to include more than just nail polish.

First for the nail polish and nail polish related items.
Nail Polish was Wet n Wild Megalast Candy-licious, and I loved it with Spoiled by Wet n Wild Shrimp on a Barbie.
I am in love with the nail polish remover pads especially for travel.
The sale that Sally Beauty Supply just had on there nail polishes. All there nail polishes where buy two get one free. I bought 9. Built my China Glaze, Orly, and Finger Paints Collection up. I will have a haul posted soon.

Now for now nail polish stuff. Thing I am love in life right now.
My new quilted padfolio that my cousin got for me. She said she got it at Office Max. It has a place inside for card, and then a little legal pad.
Another favorite is decorative flower pots. The larger two I found at the Dollar Tree and the two similar ones I got at Walgreens, and I am storage as of now just random things and pen and pencils in them.
Another favorite this month is my new wallet that I found at Wal-mart. It's hold all my stuff in, and it's pink.
Random favorties
Almond Joy Pieces
Strawberry Milk Shake from Zaxby's
Sunny Delight Ice Pops
Gold Jewerly
Vanilla Cupcake scented candles.

7 Deadly Sins of Nail Polish TAG

This is another tag from YouTube. If you follow any YouTube channels you know that this isn't going around as Nail Polish but as beauty, but I changed it to Nail Polish. Most of the questions transferred, but some I changed a lot.

I tag everyone to do this or the beauty one. If you want to know the orginial one just go to YouTube and type in 7 deadly sins of Beauty tag and you can get the questions there. Also remember to post it as a comment in my blog so I can see.

Sin One: GREED--What is your most expensive and inexpensive Nail Polish? (see pics below)

  • Julep could answer both of those. I am a Julep Maven and I got these two polishes for just a penny,  but if I were to pay full price for them they are $14 a bottle.
  • So... I included two others... The top one is a Cover Girl gold glitter that I got at Big Lots for 50 cents... Then the OPI Purple with a Purpose I paid $8.50 for.

Sin TWO: WRATH-- What do you have  a love\hate relationship with?

  • essie nail polish... I love the formula and color selection, but I hate the brush and the price. I think that is why I only one one essie polish and cannot bring myself to buy another just yet.
Sin THREE:  GLUTTONY-- What is you most delicious Nail Polish?

  • First of all do not eat nail polish cause you can get really sick. This one I had to get creative with, but it has to be Revlon Bubble Gum just because it is scented like Bubble Gum, and it's the only scented polish I own. *story behind this polish, my cousin bought this one as she was heading into the hospital to have her baby girl and wanted a specific pink color, so we spent several minutes trying to find that specific color she wanted and could not describe. This was the closest they had.

Sin FOUR: SLOTH-- What do you neglect to do because of laziness?

  • Paying attention to my cuticles.
Sin FIVE: PRIDE--What nail polish makes you most confidence?
  • I don't have a specific polish, but when I have done an amazing job painting my nails, that gives me the most confidence
Sin SIX: LUST-- What attributes are you attracted to in the opposite sex?
  • First of all no clue why this one is apart of the tag anyways, but my answer would be Their eyes and personality.
Sin SEVEN: ENVY--What would you like to receive as gifts?
  • Butter London Nail Polish
  • Deborah Lippman
  • OPI
  • essie
  • really any higher end nail polish that I would not spend the money on for myself.

Nail Polish Obsession TAG

First and foremost, I tag everyone who reads this. Either do a blog about it, or a YouTube video and leave your response where I can view it. :)
This tag has been going around on YouTube for a while now, and I just finally had a chance to do it. Sorry for some of the picture quality.

1. What's your favorite nail polish company?

  • It's a three way tie between Sally Hansen, Sinful Colors, and Wet n Wild megalast.

2. Glitter or No Glitter...

  • I have not been a real big fan of glitter, but until here recently I have started to add more glitter. Normally, I only wear it on an accent nail.

3. OPI, China Glaze, or essie

  • China Glaze, but it's only because I have worn more of it. This may change. I only own one bottle of essie, and I have only wore OPI once. Until here recently, I did not own any of these brands.
4. When do you change your nail polish?
  • I change it two to three times a week. Here lately with everything going on, I had not had anything on my nails. This is just on my finger nails. I don't change my toe nail polish as often maybe once every two weeks.
5. What's your favorite color on your nails?

  • Right now it's Julep's Anne (picture below). Also there is a NLOD with this on my hands.

 6. Darks or Brights.

  • Depending on the season. But I think that Darks look better on me. I just here recently started buying bright nail polish.
7. What are you wearing on your nails right now?

  • Wet n Wild Megalast Candy-licious with an accent nail with Spoiled by Wet n Wild Shrimp on the Barbie. (see previous blog post for the NLOD).
8. Matte in or out

  • It was never in for me. I do not own any, but I always like my nails to look shiny. So if I did have any I would probably put a top coat over it anyways.
9. French Mani?

  • I love the way it looks, but I only like the way it looks when I have long finger nails, and I have to keep my nails short now for work. I love the way it looks on my toes though.
10. Favorite Winter Color.

  • OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark
  • Essie's Dive Bar. (pictures below.)

11. Favorite Spring Colors (I added this question).

  • Wet n Wild's Megalast's I need a Refresh- mint
  • Wet n Wild's Megalast's Candy-licious
  • Julep's Anne

NLOD-- Wet n Wild Candy-licious with Spoiled by Wet n Wild Shirmp on a Barbie.

I have updated my look that I previously posted by adding an accent nail. I added Spoiled by Wet n Wild's Shrimp on a Barbie to my ring finger on each hand. Then I topped it with my Seche Vite top coat.

See previous NLOD for the application of the Candy-licious.

NLOD--Candy-licious

Here is the new look using the Wet n Wild Candy-licious. I am sorry the picture isn't really that great cause I am in a new place and a new camera so I am having to learn where I can take the best pictures. It looks orange on my nails in the pictures, but as you see below in the bottle it is a bubble gum pink.

It's a wonderful spring color, and as I have said before I love the formula of the megalast. I used two coats of the megalast, but I really did not need to. It's a habit I have always putting two coats of polish on. I feel that the second coat also hides any imperfections I have made with the first coat. Then I top it with my Wet n Wild Wild Shine Top Coat. This is the first time using this top coat. It was cheap and I did not have my Seche Vite with me at the new place yet, but I really am liking it so far. This polish probably really did not need a top coat, but again it's habit. I always put a top coat on.

Haul

I am back (so what). I will try and post something at least once a week, but I am not going to make any promises right now cause its still really hectic.

First of all,  in the last post I said that I was moving. Well I am still in the process of that so my nail polish collection has not been moved yet, but I am hoping that I can move it tomorrow. I am planning on doing an updated collection today or tomorrow cause I already had the pics on my computer, so I can do it.

These are the first polished I have bought in a month, but I am looking forward to wearing these. Most of them are spring\summer colors, and since I really had not had polish on my nails since my last look (peachy petal) I can't wait.

Starting off, I bought Wet n Wild Wild Shine clear nail protector. Since I don't have my collection with me, I needed a top coat until I could get mine, and it was only 69 cents at Walgreens. The next two colors are from Wet n Wild as well from there mega last collection On a Trip and Candy-licious. I love the I need a refresh-mint from this collection, and I loved the formula so I bought some more. The next two are from Sinful Colors (this week they are on sale for 99 cents at Walgreens--all these polishes where bought at Walgreens). The colors are Soul Mate and Fiji. The last color is a Sally Hansen Hard as Nails polish and its called Love Rocks. My cousin has painted her nails with this color and its absolutely beautiful, but the formula according to my cousin is a little running, but most of this collection from SH is.

There is not going to be a March favorites because it's almost May, and I only painted my nails once in March with the peachy petal.
